What do you include in an email asking about a position?

I'm interested in applying for a job at a skating rink. The ad says "for more info contact Joe at joe@blah.com". What should I ask? Should I just say that I'm interested in the position or should I ask for specifics or tell him something about myself or what?

What do you include in an email asking about a position?
You should send Joe a copy of resume and a cover letter stating that you saw the advertisement and you are interested in the position being advertised. Make sure you include your contact information so that Joe can call and offer you the job. :) Good luck.
