How should I respond to this email from STL?

I applied for the management position at whole foods prior to its opening. My interview went very well last week. When I was recommended to STL, he asked me few same questions via email. Today he emailed me that they "are not prepared to offer me a leadership position." He knew that I am hearing impaired. I am very qualified for that position because I have worked at old retail job for past 3 and half years and I have a BA. What should I do?
