How long do I have to wait for Sony to send me an email?

I called Sony on Wednesday and they said I will recieve an email from them.It is regarding about my PS3 beong dropped and broken.To this day I still haven't gotten the email.When I talked to they guy he said it was a form I had to fill out before I get the box for me to send in my PS3.Should I call Sony again on Tuesday?
