Everytime i try click a link to send an email outlook express comes on and I dont know how to use it.
How do i change my computer from using outlook express as an email provider?
If you are using IE 6 or 7, open internet options. Choose the programs tab. There you will see outlook listed as your default email provider. On the drop menu you should have other choices available to you. Chose which one you want and click apply. That should do it.

How do I send an email to someone who has asked a question?
I have answered a question and been asked to email more details, but I can't find an email address.
BTW I can't find a suitable category so I am taking a stab that someone will be able to help me here.

Go back to the question, find their name or avatar and go to their profile. There will be an "email them" blue hypertext thing next to their avatar... try it.

Why is sending or saving email messages so slow?
When I compose a message and click on "send" it takes 10 to 20 minutes before it actually goes out. The same thing happens if I try to save it as a draft. Once I have a draft created I can send it without any problem.

When filling out forms online does it automatically go through your personal email account?
I may not have explained myself properly the first time, but when filling out a form online and at the end it says "send " sometimes my Personal email account comes up to send and other times it just gets sent, I would like to know if it is not going through my personal email because it is not coming up how does it get sent to the recipient.

Sometimes webpages have mailto: links. When they do, pressing the button will cause Windows to activate the default email profile associated with that. But sometimes webpages just have their own form for sending emails.
If you hover over the button and the link displayed begins with mailto: then it's going to use your email address; if it doesn't, then it won't. If there isn't a mail account associated with the mailto action then nothing will happen.

Reply:Yes, I understand you woman, I encountered such problem too. but by the time i start using Kaspersky and panda antivirus and anti spyware, I didnt see such problem again.
Try to use one of thos antiviruses and antispyware.

I received an email asking me to be their 'friend' from another yahoo address; but requested response to another email address. I don't know either address, and don't want to become friends with anyone this way. Thanks

It sounds like Spam if you don't recognize it just mark it Spam and delete. Don't respond to it.
